I had very low expectations for the Amazon WHITIN Barefoot sneakers when I first saw them. They arrived from Amazon wrapped in cheap plastic packaging (no box) and when I opened the packaging there was a chemical smell.

When I tried the shoes on, I was happily surprised. They have a wide toe box and are comfortable on my feet, as comfortable as wearing slippers. The shoes are made of a mesh and suede double layer fabric that comes in a lot of great colors. The suede accents are a nice touch and make the shoes look more expensive and give them texture.

These shoes are zero drop or barefoot shoes because they are flat and made to have a natural fit and barefoot feel to strengthen your foot muscles. The shoes have a flat insole with minimal support and cushioning. The heel and forefoot of most barefoot shoes, including the Amazon WHITIN Barefoot sneakers, are at the same level and flat on the floor to help with posture and balance.

The best part of these shoes is the wide toe box that allows toes to spread naturally. If you try barefoot shoes or zero drop shoes, it’s best to gradually transition from your supportive shoes. These shoes also have an anti-slip rubber sole with deep grip that gives the shoes stability and support.

The sizing of these shoes is like most tennis shoes. I size up my tennis shoes a half-size (to 8 wide) because my feet usually swell when exercising. I also wear the Amazon WHITIN Barefoot sneakers in 8 wide.

I love the look and feel of these shoes, but they don’t have a lot of support. I normally wear them with my custom orthotics because my feet naturally roll inward as they move (overpronate). If you’re interested in zero drop or barefoot shoes, I recommend this brand and style. They are affordable (around $50 but go on sale for about $35) with removable insoles. The Amazon WHITIN Women's sneakers are cute, comfortable, affordable, and come in great colors.
