These boots look great with many positives but have arch support issues. I liked so many things about these Chelsea boots, starting with the look. These are thick leather boots with a strong sole, but not too heavy. The color and leather is exactly what I was looking for in a boot. They are available in black and brown and very affordable when on sale. These boots come in wide, so the width fit my bunions comfortably and the heel is low (1.5”) with great traction.

Now to the issues, the insole of the boot is comfortable, but it has minimal arch support. The insole doesn’t come out of the boot so you can’t fix the arch support issue by using insoles or custom orthotics with these boots. Another issue I have with the brown boot is the elastic goring, this is the elastic fabric panel in the boot to provide stretch. The goring on the brown boot is a black fabric so it stands out. The goring on the black boot is black fabric so it blends better. I like these boots but don’t recommend the boots for those of us who need arch support.

Additional Details

Positives
- Good looking boots
- Low heel 1.5”
- Rubber outsole for traction
- Insole with foam cushion

Negatives
- Insole does not come out, can’t wear with orthotics
- Those with flat feet will need more arch support
- The fabric panel on the brown boot is black so it stands out. Prefer the black boot (black goring)

True to size- Bought in size 7.5
